Sony Ericsson's new Walkman phone adds navigation and motion-sensing games to music armory.
The new device will be unveiled today at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, along with the entry level W350 and Z555 'fashion' phone.The W760 sees Sony Ericsson jumping firmly on the GPS bandwagon - it comes bundled with Wayfinder Navigator and Google Maps software.
In terms of games, the tri-band/HSDPA slider is preloaded with EA's Need for Speed ProStreet, which can be played in landscape on the 2.2 inch screen. The W760 also supports Nintendo Wii-style motion sensor gaming.
Elsewhere, the W350 is an ultra-slim (10mm) 'flip' phone featuring something called Walkman On Top (i.e. music function keys on the fascia) and TrackID music recognition software.
Finally, the Z555 clamshell is pitched at the fashion conscious user and is paired with the 'Design Collection' of accessories and Bluetooth headsets.
