Scribd details mobile e-book service

Written-word sharing site embarks on mobile expansion

MobileBeat reports on Scribd's plans to make its e-book sharing service available for mobile phones.

The first prong of the mobile expansion will allow Scribd users to send documents to multiple devices.

For example, a user could start reading a Scribd e-book online, then send it to their mobile handset to read while travelling.

Compatible devices include iPhone, Andoird, BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile, Amazon's Kindle, Sony Reader and Barnes & Noble's Nook.
