Firm also creates tech to preserve images for up to 100 years.
Flash memory storage company SanDisk Corporation has said that with mobile phone sales expected to reach 1.7 billion in 2014, the majority of handsets will include microSDXC card slots.
This has led the firm to develop the fingernail-sized microSDXC card, which has memory of up to 64GB doubling that of some smartphones and tablets.
Bob O’Keefe, VP, retail marketing, SanDisk, said: "Our flash storage solutions help consumers capture more photos, load their mobile apps faster, share exciting moments with friends and preserve their memories for generations to come."
Other new items include:
* SanDisk Memory Vault. It has been constructed with Chronolock technology, built to preserve images in their original quality for up to a century.
