World's second biggest vendor shows off world's third Android phone
The Samsung I7500 is a predictably touchscreen device, featuring a 3.2 inch AMOLEDscreen, 8GB, 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity.
It offers access to the full suite of Google services, while the GPS receiver enables use of Google Maps. Hundreds of other applications are available in Android Market.
“Samsung is among the earliest members of the Open Handset Alliance and has been actively moving forward to introduce the most innovative Android mobile phone,” said JK Shin, EVP of the mobile communication division in Samsung Electronics.
The I7500 will be available in major European countries from June, 2009, with pricing to be announced.
