Skinny Wave 723 is just 11.8mm deep.
The handset becomes the second after the Wave to feature Samsung's own smartphone OS.
Features include a 3.2-inch TFT-LCD display, a 'social hub' for contacts from email, facebook and phonebook and direct access to the Samsung Apps store. It's also got a leather flip cover.
Simon Stanford, head of Samsung Mobile UK & Ireland, said: “The launch of this device clearly underlines our commitment to smartphone products on different platforms and forms part of our strategy to deliver a wide range of handsets designed to suit a multitude of users.”
The Wave 723 will be available across Europe from September, and in the UK in the final quarter of this year.
Samsung will have high hopes as the first Wave notched up one million sales inside weeks.
