$330,000 worth of prize money up for grabs
The Samsung Application Store Developer Challenge 2009, which runs until December 10th, is designed to attract developers to the Korean company's app store offering.
The contest is focussed on apps for the Omnia II (I8000) and is open to applications in English and Italian.
A total of $330,000 in prize money is available, with the top two winners will receive $100,000 each.
Samsung Electronics will select winning applications by the end of December 2009. The winning apps will be made available for download, either paid or for free, on the Samsung Application Store site, www.samsungapps.com.
Winners will also be able to participate in Samsung’s mobile developer program.
