Korean giant says economic conditions could see market contraction in 2009.
Samsung Electronics has warned that global sales of mobile phones could fall short of its own nine per cent forecast and could potentially contract next year.The news comes following similar warnings from Nokia and independent analysts, with Samsung having made its more bullish forecast back in June.
Speaking to Reuters Samsung spokesman james Chung said: "The actual global market growth on a unit basis could come short of our initial forecast for a nine percent growth. As for next year, it is possible that the market could post a single-digit or even negative growth,
