Korean phone maker allegedly delivered the news via email.
Earlier this week, we reported that Samsung is expected to unveil its rumoured 7mm thick Galaxy S III at a special event in May, thus bypassing this month's Mobile World Conference.
Now, PCMag claims it received an email from Samsung, which confirms cancellation of its MWC press conference entirely.
How true the news is remains unclear, but it's safe to say it's a stark turnaround from just last week, when Samsung, said: "Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012."
Aside from the Galaxy S III, Samsung was expected to unveil a pair of new Android tablets and discuss its Bada/Tizen OS.
