The Korean vendor has big plans for its Bada platform. But what is it exactly?
Last week, Samsung signalled its intentions to wrest the smartphone initiative from the likes of Nokia, RIM and Apple.
The company said it will treble its smartphone shipments this year to 18 million units, and will sell 260-270 million mobile devices in total.
Samsung is investing much in its new Bada platform, and also maintained that it is ploughing ahead with devices powered by Android, Windows Mobile and LiMo.
