Former AdMob VP leaves the dole queue to become CMO of UK firm.
Buckley was the second employee of AdMob, which was eventually sold for $750m to Google.
Although best known for this role, Buckley had been working in mobile marketing since 2000.
He left AdMob in February, and has been mulling his next move ever since.
After making noises about becoming an investor in mobile start-ups, he has now opted for a full-time marketing role with Eagle Eye Solutions, which works with retailers such as Comet and Blockbuster to distribute and redeem mobile coupons via credit card terminals and EPoS technology.
Buckley said: “It’s a very exciting time to be joining the Eagle Eye team.
