Dell made its move into smartphones this year, but it seems the company may have its eye on the tablet market too.
According to Pocket Lint, the company is working on an Android-based tablet with a five-inch screen, which may be announced at next month's CES show in Las Vegas.
If true, it's an intriguing size to choose - bigger than a smartphone but smaller than e-readers or Apple's rumoured ten-inch tablet device.
"Dell continually develops and tests new products that extend the mobile experience," a spokesperson tells the site.
"We have not made any product announcements and do not comment on speculation, rumour, or unannounced products."

Reading between the lines, perhaps the five-inch tablet is a prototype for the moment rather than a ready-to-be-unveiled commercial product.
