UK social location startup rolling out to more users.
Mobile social location service Rummble has launched a Windows Phone application, joining its existing apps for iPhone and Android.
The UK-developed service describes itself as a "personalised real-time recommendations platform" that lets users rate, review and share locations, and get customised recommendations back in return.
It uses a similar 'checking in' dynamic to rival app Foursquare, which involves users registering where they are and allowing friends to see.
Like the other versions, the Windows Phone app ties in Twitter, Facebook, Bebo and LinkedIn.
"Windows Mobile has always been one of the most capable mobile platforms available, but there is no question new entrants have increased competition in the market," says founder Andrew Scott.
