Robbie Williams gets his own iPhone racing game

Artificial Life's Robbie Williams Racing hits the App Store.

He just wants to feel real love, and now Robbie Williams has a new way to connect with his fans - iPhone game Robbie Williams Racing (App Store link).

It's the work of mobile games firm Artificial Life, who signed a licensing deal with the pop star earlier this year.

The game, which went live on the App Store on Friday, features in-game versions of two songs from his new album - Bodies and Difficult For Weirdos.

Players can also unlock remixes of the first track, as well as behind-the-scenes photos and videos of Robbie.

The star has even provided the commentary for the game, which as you'd expect also offers tap-through links to buy his new album on Apple's iTunes Store.

There is no shortage of music artist apps for iPhone, but not so many games - and most of those that have been released come from US firm Tapulous, which has made music games for the likes of Metallica, Weezer and Lady Gaga.

By choosing to make a driving game, Artificial Life has struck off in another direction. The only question now is how many fans will let it entertain them.
