Drivers in Shanghai are personalising their car horns to bypass a law banning honking
The local authority in Shanghai banned beeping earlier this month, so some drivers who still feel the need to express themselves are apparently spending up to 800 yuan ($100) for customised horns. Some have recorded their favourite songs, some recorded voice messages (‘get out of the bloody way’, probably) and others have ported their ringtones. It’s a story of only marginal relevance to mobile content, but we liked it.
