That's why the next gen OS BlackBerry 6 represents such an opportunity. It'll be out in Q3.
Among the features highlighted in the blog were:
* Onscreen camera controls
Users will be able to access and review camera pictures, set popular options and pick from a variety of scene modes, all directly from the camera screen.

* Video interface integrates YouTube search
Search for video with a thumbnail view and share them using the new integrated YouTube video uploader. The new universal search in BlackBerry 6 has also been designed to enable users to search Internet video sites such as YouTube.
Photo Gallery supports pinch-to-zoom
BlackBerry 6 will provide multiple dynamic ways to view and organise photos, aiming to organise thousands of photos intuitively by event or by date. And there's pinch-to-zoom for touchscreens.
*Album Art
Album art will be detected virtually everywhere, and can be searched using the carousel to swipe through.
* Podcasts Service
BlackBerry 6 will come pre-loaded with the new BlackBerry podcasts service in North America, which is completely mobile and free.
