Amdocs Qpass unveils content retail platform, vows an end to 'silos'.
Not food silos, but the kind where mobile content verticals are hosted and served independently, making cross promotion and merchandising problematic.The new Qpass Retail Suite promises a 'holistic' approach to content retail that encompasses personalised offerings and use recommendations.
Earlier this month Amdocs said it expects to process premium content transactions worth $1 billion in 2007.
If reached, the self-declared figure will be approximately 40 per cent up on 2006, with growth attributable to more people using mobile data services, higher priced content and stronger marketing efforts by content providers.
Qpass customers include, T-Mobile International and Sprint.
