Its 'plugged-in' source claims that the updated iPhone OS will synchronise its phonebook with users' Facebook contacts.

Facebook is currently facing criticism for its allegedly slapdash approach to user privacy. However, a tie-up with Apple could be a big boost for its new Open Graph.
The social network has worked with other mobile handset firms though. For example, Nokia built Facebook into its Ovi Maps software, letting users update their status with a link to a map of their current location.
