Speakers from O2, Vodafone and mBlox will explain the benefit of industry co-operation on billing, location and messaging.

The free webinar, due to take place at 3pm (GMT) on Thursday July 30th, is entitled 'Unlocking the Opportunity for Future Content Distribution Models'.

The agenda is as follows:

    * the drivers behind the development of smart enablers
    * the opportunity for media and content owners, content retailers, social network providers etc
    * providing functional, commercial and business requirements for those who want to do business in this space.
    * perspectives on likely future evolution of the market

The aim of MEF's Smart Pipe Enablers initiative is to improve the quality, reliability and simplicity of mobile apps.

It recognises that the only way to achieve this is through operators giving content owners the ability to incorporate APIs that access their billing, location and messaging functions.
