Realeyes3D has shipped its handwritten messaging apps into more than 30 million camera phones.
The company’s technology allows camera phone users to send messages by photographing their own handwriting, using a standard pen and any type of paper. Its applications, Digitizer and w-Postcard, enable consumers to create personalised messages that go beyond simple text to include diagrams, maps, drawings, photos or images. According to Strategy Analytics, the installed base of camera phones will exceed one billion by the end of the year.
