That's right folks, submission of an update to Apple is imminent
RealNetworks has used its blog to tell users what they've been waiting to hear - that its Rhapsody iPhone app will soon allow them to listen to music while offline.
The company says it has been digesting all the user feedback it has received since it first launched the app (which is only available in the US), with listening while out of 3G or wi-fi range top of the list.
Real says it's working on a Rhapsody app update that supports the functionality and will be submitting it to apple for approval 'very soon'.
Spotify, one of Real's main rivals in the space, has been offering offline listening for its iPhone app for some time.
