The latest round was led by GMP Securities and included participation from existing VC partners General Catalyst Partners, JLA Ventures and Ventures West.
QuickPlay Media says the new funds will support the development of its OpenVideo Platform and associated solutions, including PrimeTime2Go.
The company has also announced that its SIRIUS XM Radio mobile app has been downloaded a million times by iPhone and iPod Touch owners.
