Offers users a rebate.
Qualcomm's troubled FLO TV will finally close down on 27 March, the company has confirmed on its website.
It is also offering a rebate to people who bought one of three FLO TV devices: the FLO TV Personal Television, FLO TV Auto Entertainment in-car system, or the Audiovox Portable DVD Player with FLO TV.
Users can claim online, and will see how much they are getting back on the price of the device, while also being returned service fees, pro-rated.
Qualcomm recently confirmed that less than one million customers signed up for FLO TV over its lifetime. The company may now enjoy a bumper payday from selling off the spectrum used for its ill-fated mobile TV service.
