A pre-selected batch of 100 console quality Android titles available for pre-loading.
These games have been optimised and enhanced to show off the best of the Snapdragon-based mobile devices. They will be made accessible to the Android community via the Android Market and developer stores.
But device makers can also choose to pre-install them on pre-commercial products to show off the capabilities of the Snapdragon processor – especially the graphics capability of the embedded Adreno GPUs.
Qualcomm believes this will help publishers make more money from embedded games, and develop new revenue from existing catalogues.
There are more than 125 Snapdragon devices announced and more than 250 in development.
In future, Qualcomm is promising new 'phases' of the Snapdragon Game Pack to take advantage of next-generation Snapdragon mobile processors that will feature quad-core Adreno GPUs.

“The wide industry support behind Snapdragon helps to facilitate consistency of hardware, even between different manufacturers, and it makes optimizations of our products an easier process,” said Mitri Wiberg, CEO, Polarbit AB.
“Working with Qualcomm also gives us the opportunity to attain business opportunities with major mobile industry players that rely on Qualcomm technology to power their products.”
