UK rapper Professor Green is inviting fans to remix his latest single Monster using the Fireplayer app for iOcesS dev

However, they have to buy it first: the remixable version of Monster costs £1.79 within the Fireplayer application.

The contest is backed by UK newspaper The Sun. Fans upload their remixes of the song to its site, where they'll be available for all to listen to.

Fireplayer has EMI, Universal Music Group and Ministry of Sound signed up to provide content for its remix app.

Currently it's available for iOS devices in the UK, but will soon roll out across Europe, and to Android and Symbian handsets.

"Fireplayer’s solution continues to drive value to our content partners and with The Sun in support will be able to drive real value to its readers," says Bounce Mobile CEO Martin Macmillan.
