Price comparison; the most popular in-store m-commerce task in the US

Infographic shows 55 per cent of Americans bargain hunt before making a purchase.

Mobile commerce is on the rise, and this new infographic from brand management firm, Emphatica, shows exactly how the platform has altered the way Americans now shop in physical stores too.

Rather than go from shop to shop, 55 per cent now compare prices when in-store, while a third scan QR codes to find more information.

Meanwhile, 27 per cent look for reviews to support their purchase, while one-fifth download an app for extra shopping assistance.
