Power of One - a day of inspiration for developers

New industry event at Battersea Power Station focusing on the dynamic new app economy.

Power Of One has been convened by O2's developer platform BlueVia, but the organisers stress that the event will have a general industry focus and not include presentations from BlueVia.

Instead, it will aim to motivate and inspire developers and entrepreneurs with the help of six speakers and two panel sessions.

Power Of One will take place on November 11th and has room for 300 guests. After the talk there'll be a chance for all of them to relax and make new business contacts.

Here's how O2 BlueVia describes its aims: "In the last three years, the power has shifted from cash rich organisations to smaller individuals and organisations. The power is moving towards people who can write code and entrepreneurs who know how to manage the development of services based on software and the internet.

"The event will be looking back at past experiences and forward to what's in store for us in the future. We'll help you find the best ways to get your ideas heard and the funding to turn your ideas into reality."
