Last week Vodafone unveiled its new 360 initiative, which it describes as "a suite of innovative, new internet services" for mobile and PC.
It's an ambitious project and one that's intended to take the existing Vodafone Live! content portal concept and make it relevant to today's apps focused, context aware, socially networked mobile user.
But can it work? Will Vodafone be able to court the developer support it needs, and can its marketing plan win over punters attracted by all that the likes of Apple, Nokia and Palm have to offer?
