Forty-five per cent of our readers believe the launch of Apple's iPad will herald the dawn of a new era for the publishing industry.
You can view the results here.
Presumably, the belief is that new business models brought about by ebooks and emagazines will be a fillip for old media publishers feeling the digital pinch.
Conversely, 40 per cent of ME readers asserted that there is no substitute for a proper, printed book.
