Follows similar milestone on Ovi Store - but how many were paid for?
Mobile games firm Polarbit has announced that its games have been downloaded more than one million times from Google's Android Market store.
The news comes just a month after the company announced a similar milestone on Nokia's Ovi Store.
In fact, Polarbit claims to be "one of an exclusive few, possibly the only" developer to have passed one million downloads on Ovi Store, Android Market AND iPhone.
It's an impressive set of milestones, although Polarbit hasn't broken down those millions of downloads into free and paid games - it offers both.
That makes it hard to figure out how much actual revenues are flowing into the company's coffers. Even so, a million users on any platform offers a good base for future cross-promotion of paid games.
