French launch event gets blogosphere all excited.
There's been an avalanche of speculation around the rumoured device in recent weeks, with strong suggestions that it would launch at Mobile World Congress in Febuary 2011.
Now though leaked pics of an event invitation in France has fuelled rumours that the phone could be launched in December.
The invitation shows all the Playstation logos, but it could easily be fake of course.
The Sony Ericsson Playstation phone will apparently run on Android, with a 1Ghz processor.
This is just the latest of many rumours about the launch of a gems-branded handset. SE enjoyed huge success with Cyber-shot and Walkman branded phones in the past, but these rbands have been eclipsed by the whole smartphone/touchscreen thing.
