Pocket-lint claims the phone will be launched at Sony Ericsson's customary Sunday press conference prior to MWC. But it will take a couple of months hit the stores.
It's the latest skinny of a much-discussed device with trademarke PlayStation controls, 1GHz Qualcomm processor and 1GB of ROM.
Sony Ericsson will probably be glad of the attention, given a market share that is struggling to recover after a dismal couple of years.
And certainly the whole PlayStation angle is generating lots of noise.
The firm revealed a PlayStation app for iPhone and Android last week, and a video of the device in action has been doing the rounds since the start of the month.
