'Rocket' Ronnie is returning to phones courtesy of the latest snooker game from Player One Sports - just in time for next month's World Championships.
Ronnie O'Sullivan's Snooker 2007 is hitting UK operator decks this month, with Player One no doubt be counting on interest in the sport ahead of the World Championships in April as a sales driver. The 3D graphics of Player One's previous Ronnie games remain, but this time gamers will be asked to re-tread his career by taking part in bar room one-on-ones, time challenges and performing trick shots to earn money, prizes and - crucially - respect.
The long-term goal is to qualify for an international snooker competition, in which players will face the legendary Steve Davis, among others.
In addition to the career mode, players have the opportunity to test and hone their skills through one-on-one showdowns with other game characters for cash wagers, learn, attempt and master trick shots, and earn extra money through time challenges.
Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Snooker 2007 is available from UK operators including Orange, Vodafone, 3 and T-Mobile.
