Picsel has hired Ted Katagi from Vodafone to be its new global COO.
He will be responsible for leading global sales and marketing for the Scottish browser and file viewer specialist. Katagi joins Picsel with over 13 years of experience in the operator space. He has held senior positions at Vodafone Group, Japan Telecom, Verizon Wireless and J-Phone and AirTouch. At Vodafone Japan he was chief marketing officer.Imran Khand, CEO of Picsel Technologies, said: “Ted has unrivalled experience in driving the international expansion of mobile business across multiple countries.
