Campaign for energy drink draws criticism for being sexist

Mashable picks up on the fuss around the AMP Before You Score iPhone app, which appears to have been intended at as a tongue-in-cheek guide to going out on the pull.

However, it has drawn a fair amount ire from people who consider it sexist, with some calling for a boycott of Pespi products.

Pespi/AMP have since issued an apology via Twitter that reads: "Our app tried 2 show the humorous lengths guys go 2 pick up women. We apologize if it's in bad taste & appreciate your feedback."

Interestingly the post was suffixed with an #pepsifail hashtag, and the app itself has not been withdrawn.
