Mobile social network's home page given a wash in the name of usability.

Peperoni has redesigned its home page to make it easier for consumers to build and launch their own mobile sites and connect with other community-minded people.

The firm has completely refreshed its Peperonity service with large virtual buttons, self-explanatory symbols and a more intuitive menu system with high-contrast colours for easier visibility in sunlight.

Peperoni claims to have invented the concept of mobile site building in 2001, and says its Peperonity service is the world’s largest mobile social network, with around eight million self-generated pages built so far.

Registered users can create their own sites for free in five steps via phone or PC and then fill them with text, photos or video.

Peperoni has also had success in white-labelling its platform for operator partners. They include T-Mobile and O2, which hired Peperoni to power its myWAP service.
