Parallel Kingdom has 1m players

Hits milestone in three years.

PerBlue's location based, massively multiplayer role playing game started out on iOS and Android in 2008 but is now on the web and Facebook.

It harnesses GPS technology and location information to enable players to capture territories and battle other real-life players and fight monsters and find resources to move forward in the game.

“One million Parallel Kingdom players is a dream come true for all of us who spend each day thinking about how to make our game better than it was the day before,” said CEO and cofounder of PerBlue, Justin Beck.

“Over the past three years, we have strived to challenge and entertain our growing community by expanding levels, adding new missions, creating opportunities to connect with each other and to make a difference through social giving efforts."
