Former MoMac man arrives to keep social gaming firm growing
Hanage becomes general manager for Europe, with the remit to forge links with developers and strategic partners.
Specifically, he'll be recruiting them to a Papaya network that provides access to over 30m Android gamers and offers monetisation through virtual currency.
Hanage is the latest recruit to build the firm's presence outside of its Asia Pac base, joining another European recruit developer evangelist Oscar Clark and Sumi Lim, who arrived as senior director of business development in the US.
“It’s a dream opportunity to join such a fun, fast growing and dynamic company at the forefront of one of the most exciting spaces in the mobile world,” said Hanage.
“Europe has always been a hotbed of mobile and games talent, and I’m looking forward to building Papaya’s ecosystem with developers big and small.”
PapayaMobile now has over 100 employees worldwide.
