Handset maker releases public beta of webOS Plug-in Developer Kit

Unreal Engine 3 users will soon have the option to develop games for the Palm webOS.

Now Epic Games and mobile game group Palm are releasing the public beta of its webOS Plug-in Developer Kit (PDK).

Both companies have sent troops to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco to demonstrate the PDK platform.

“Together, the PDK and the Unreal Engine 3 will make it even easier for developers to bring visually rich games to Palm webOS phones,” said Palm’s Jon Zilber.
