Rumours point to an autumn street date for the O2 exclusive.
PalmWebOSBlog has the scoop, which it says is based on an anonymous tip that O2 retail staff have been told to clear their decks for an October 30th launch.
Of course O2 already offers Apple's iPhone, which Palm is pitching its Pre against.
However, O2 exclusivity on the iPhone is expected to end on October 9th, with other UK operators expected to offer the iPhone and iPhone 3G (but not 3G S, which will remain O2-only) after that date.
