Pain-free web to mobile with e-Spirit

e-Spirit has launched software that reproduces web content without any loss of integrity.

FirstSpirit 4.0 software will download material from You Tube, Facebook and other popular internet destinations, using a content aggregator and device handler to allow information to be rendered in a format that is device-specific and compatible. The system also offers innovative features, such as ‘Tell-a-Friend’, using SMS.

In addition to the mobile delivery, FirstSpirt 4.0 includes automated database schemas and third party portals, providing companies with the ability to integrate content from subsidiaries across multiple legacy systems and databases.

The system is currently being used by a range of companies across Europe, including German newspaper group Sued Deutsche Zeitung.

Robert Bredlau, international director of business development at e-Spirit UK, said: “Consumers no longer want to have to wait until they’re sitting in front of a computer to get information – and they don’t have to as they can view web pages on their mobile handsets. The trouble is, a lot of web content is designed for viewing on standard size screens, so looking at them on anything smaller can result in a poor user experience. We’re changing that and offering a way for any company to deliver mobile-specific content to devices, without the need to develop extra mobile content.”
