Namco Bandai inks distribution deal with Japanese mobile games portal
DeNA-owned mobile games portal Mobage-Town is offering four games from Namco Bandai, with an agreement in place to release one more each month going forward.
The content line-up includes the likes of Pac-Man and Xevious, which will be available from a Namco Bandai-branded section of the Mobage-Town store.
DeNA and Namco Bandai say they will be developing new titles as part of the partnership, in addition to offering back catalogue.
To re-cap, DeNA claims to have 19 million subscribers in Japan. The company has a partnership with Yahoo Japan and has investments in US companies Aurora Feint and IceBreaker.
