Local study gives Nokia a 65.2 per cent share.
According to the IResearch, Ovi is trouncing the competition, and leading the mighty China Mobile app store, which is currently accessed by 57.7 per cent of China's mobile subscribers.
It adds that the Android and iPhone stores is limited by the low penetration of devices and the lack of local products on those services.
The numbers are sure to cheer Nokia, and remind the Western-centric media of the Finnish company's enduring power in 'emerging markets'.
