Steady progress for Nokia store, which was doing 3m a day a month ago.
New Distimo figures confirm the milestone and also add that 92 publishers/developers have now passed the one million download mark for their products in Ovi Store.
Nokia will be delighted with the numbers, which were at 2m a day in September, 2.5m a day at October 7th and 3m in mind-November.
The active users represent more than 190 countries worldwide. These users average 8.5 downloads per month each.
Meanwhile the sheer scale and diversity of the Ovi offer is reflected in data that says 100 operators in 30 countries offer integrated mobile billing with Ovi Store.
Distimo adds that 40 per cent of downloads are games and 30 per cent are applications. So the rest are, what, ringtones? You have to assume so.
Still, at this rate, the numbers put Ovi on target for 1bn downloads not necessarily in 2010 but certainly 2011.
