Nokia has announced the winners of its Must-Have App Of The Year Awards 2009, based on the votes of readers of its Ovi Daily App blog.
Winners included Shazam, Nimbuzz and Vlingo, with the gongs announced online at the official website.

2009 was a tough year for the Ovi Store, with regular negative comparisons with iPhone's App Store, and complaints from developers about poor sales.

The awards at least show that there was some innovation happening on Ovi Store. With Nokia working on the second generation for a Spring release, it will be hoping for more in the months to come.
