'All in one' UI takes the form of a 3D globe
Here's an interesting take on social network integration - World Domination's Orbiifi iPad app allows the user to view tweets and Facebook status updates on a 3D globe and keep track of RSS feeds as they pop up across the world in real time.
In fact, it offers two views: globe and columned. The globe view offers the ability to view updates from across the world (content is stacked by time zone), while the more detailed column view allows the user to track specific trends from Twitter, Facebook and RSS.
The three-man developer team reckons it conceived and built the $4.99 app in 30 days, and is planning a raft of updates to include Facebook events, live flight tracking and deeper Twitter integration.
