Users, page views and data consumption all rising year-on-year.
Fresh from its Opera Mini mobile browser being declared GetJar's most popular ever download, Opera has revealed a bunch of statistics about exactly how its browser is being used.
According to the company's State of the Mobile Web report for July, 29.1 million people used Opera Mini during the month - up 145% year-on-year.
Those users viewed more than 12 billion pages during the month - up 223% - consuming nearly 187MB of data (notable, because Opera says it compresses webpages by up to 90%).
It's very much an emerging markets thing, too. The most popular country in July for Mini usage was Russia, followed by Indonesia, India, China, Ukraine and South Africa - although the US came in sixth.
"This month's report shows that people are using the mobile Web more intensively," says CEO Jon von Tetzchner (pictured). "We believe that giving people everywhere a better browser will encourage them to browse more."
