Preparing to cash in on the coming Android deluge.
The Norwegian browser maker has released a short video showcasing the browser, which runs on Android, uses touch-based navigation and supports Flash.
It's based on a new 10.5 version of Opera's Mobile browser.
This is an obvious move for Opera, which arguably offers the most successful of all mobile browsers, Opera Mini. Following protracted negotiation, it was launched for iPhone last April to great acclaim.
Opera says this new tablet browser will not be available for iPad, but Opera Mini could be.
