Opera Mini has become a popular choice on mobile for the way it compresses pages and re-orients them for the small screen. Indeed, Opera says it's now compressing a total of 11,500 pages a second.
The browser has been boosted by its recent availability on iPhone, in which it topped over im downloads on day one.
It is on Java, Windows Mobile, Android, S60 and Blackberry too.
Last month Opera processed 910m pages on an average day, a jump of over 161 per cent since June 2009.
