230 games added in just over two months, hogging nearly a quarter of the top 100 games on Android Market.
Mobile social games network OpenFeint says it has added more than 230 games in the last two months, with 24 of the top 100 paid and free Android games now using its community.
The additions take its Android total to 700 games, with those titles currently getting new features including beefed up player profiles, status messages and player message walls.
"Free-to-play games require an engaged social graph to succeed. With new features like these going live every couple of weeks, OpenFeint is rapidly activating our user base for game developers," says SVP of product Ethan Fassett. Android is getting these new features ahead of iOS.
The company was acquired by Japanese social mobile gaming firm Gree in April 2011, and has since been focusing on building up its Android business to help Gree compete with rival DeNA, whose ngmoco subsidiary has just launched the Mobage community globally on Android.
