UK company says device will also sport a five megapixel camera.

Newcomer Onyx has unveiled three media-centric feature phones today and is promising Android and Windows Mobile-powered devices to come.

The handsets launched today comprise the Flip (entry level), Slider (pictured - music oriented/2MP camera) and the Nero (touchscreen/email).

Onyx says additional handsets are in development, including a dual-sim handset with an 8MP camera, a Windows Mobile smartphone and a dual-sim Android handset with a 5MP camera.

Zafar Mirza, Chairman of Onyx, said: "These new handsets offer consumers a different choice, one that many people have been crying out for. They are stylish, practical and will be very competitively priced. And the dual-sim function means that consumers can shop around for the best tariffs or have a great phone to take with them as they travel abroad.”
